RICHMOND, Va., September 17, 2015 – Richmond 2015, the organizer of the 2015 UCI Road World Championships, today announced that Owens & Minor, Inc. has joined its team of partners of the nine-day cycling event to be held in Richmond beginning Sept. 19.

As part of its partnership, Owens & Minor, an international healthcare-logistics company headquartered in Richmond and operating in 14 countries around the world, will retain the naming rights to the Race Daily, a daily update on all the happenings at the Road World Championships that will be emailed and distributed in the Markel VIP Pavilion, Libby Hill VIP Pavilion and FanFest in the Greater Richmond Convention Center.

The 2015 UCI Road World Championships will be held Sept. 19-27, with 12 world championship races taking place over nine days and attracting a total of 450,000 spectators from the Richmond region and across the globe. Hundreds of millions more will watch on television.

The 2015 UCI Road World Championships, cycling’s pinnacle event, will be held Sept. 19-27, 2015 in Richmond, Va., and is expected to attract as many as 450,000 onsite spectators from the Richmond region and across the globe over the course of the nine-day event as well as a worldwide TV audience in the hundreds of millions. More than 1,000 cyclists – Elite Men and Women, Under-23 Men and Junior Men and Women – from more than 70 countries will compete in three disciplines: the traditional Road Race, Individual Time Trial and Team Time Trial.
